Mies was the artistic director of the Exposure of Stoccarda (1927) and has charge of the plans of the single buildings Walter Gropius, Hans Scharoun, Richard Döcker, Peter Behrens, Hans Poelzig, Ludwig Hilberseimer, Adolf Scheneck, Adolf Rading, Bruno Taut, Max Taut, J.J.P. Oud, Mart Stam, Josef Frank, Le Corbusier, Victor Bourgeois, reserving itself the plan of along block of apartments to background of the series of unifamiliari small houses.
The architects were free to plan as he appealed to they, with the only tie of the flat cover and the color white for the exteriors.
The quarter was inaugurated the 23 July 1927. |
