Jesús Marino Pascual was born in Liédena (Navarre). He studied in the Higher Technical College of Architecture of the University of Navarre, and obtained his degree in 1978. During his 30 years of practice as a liberal professional, his work has been primarily in La Rioja, with projects and building work in Navarre, Álava, Zaragoza, Huesca, Tarragona, Valencia, Alicante, Menorca, Almería and Huelva. He has done projects for both the Civil Service and for private activity. His professional activity has involved the construction of numerous residential buildings, from single-family houses to large property developments, from luxury properties to state-subsidized housing. It has been enriched by his participation in the Artistic and Cultural Heritage and with projects and building work for museums and religious, cultural, government, sport and industrial buildings, as well as numerous urban planning projects, providing extensive knowledge of the profession. His major bodega projects have resulted in productive work in landscape management, breaking the limits between architecture and topography. This rich and varied activity has shaped a professional with extensive experience and it meets the various professional aspects required for the purpose of this tender: - Urban Planning, its management and development. - Artistic and cultural heritage, its protection and integration with other uses. - Museum Architectural Design. - Ordered structuring of the landscape with the built-up, dense city. Architecture as part of the landscape. He has a large, sound professional office and his team-coordinating skills are proven: In 1992, he was elected Dean of the Official College of Architects in La Rioja and from the Council developed a Plan to improve the professional activity of architects by creating Technology Assessment Centres (T.A.C.) In 1993, he was appointed General Manager and Coordinator by the Council, a position which he held until September 2000. Under his Coordination, twenty-six T.A.Cs were implemented all over Spain which began fruitful and renowned institutional labour. - Developing the Permanent Training Programme for the Architect considering all Project subjects, given by all of the Colleges with the Lectures of the Technical Schools of Architecture. - Writing-up and editing with the varied specialist tender: List of instructions for the Architectural Project Write-up Volumes I and II. Guide for the Development Project Write-up Volumes I and II Bidding Conditions for Development engineering and building works. - City Programme technical consultant - Logroño 2000 - Regional Guidelines technical consultant in La Rioja - Director and coordinator of the Base Document for a Castle Master Plan in La Rioja (37 architects, 3 historians and 2 archaeologists). |
