Dietmar Feichtinger a native of Austria, studied architecture at the Technical University of Graz.
He moved to Paris in 1989 and established Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes in 1993. With a thirty of employees between Paris and Vienna the team operates mainly in Europe. DFA has built a strong reputation for its inventive struc- tures and its investigative approach to design. Its work links both architecture and engineering whilst exploring the dynamic between these two disciplines. In a constant strive DFA is looking for integration environmental and sustainable development, in a elegant and sensitive architecture, respectful of nature and humans.

The exhibition features an array of films, original models, plans, and detailed drawings from a total of 38 projects, offering visitors a comprehensive view of the studio’s creative process and design philosophy. Among the highlighted works is the iconic Simone-de-Beauvoir footbridge in Paris, a remarkable example of the studio’s expertise in free-span bridge design. The exhibition not only celebrates completed projects but also provides a glimpse into ongoing and future endeavors, showcasing the studio's commitment to pushing the boundaries of architectural innovation.
Complementing the exhibition is the newly published book titled "Building," which further encapsulates the studio’s philosophy and achievements.
