| In the year 1975 it came advertised a competition with 40 groups of architects participants; in the year 1976 they were selects the plan by the iraqi architect Sami Mousawi and the plan by Portoghesi-Gigliotti; the Center Muslim churches asked to the two groups to execute an only one plan, that was approved by the Common of Rome in 1983 and contracted out the successive year. |
