The neighborhood was built on their own by a group of young architects, who would later carry out other significant works, who only put the apartments up for sale when the work was finished, thus creating a "prototype" neighborhood that had not been influenced by the client.
In 1983-86 the complex underwent rigorous restoration work by ARCOOP (Ueli Marbach, Arthur Rüegg), during which the polychromy of the interior was rediscovered and restored; numerous elements of the original furnishings have also been recovered and put back into use in their place. |
